Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support and energy to an organism. It can be raw, processed, or formulated and is consumed orally by animals for growth, health, or pleasure. Food is mainly composed of water, lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates.

BAKED GOODS

Baked goods are foods made from dough or batter and cooked by baking,A method of cooking food that uses prolonged dry heat, normally in an oven, but also in hot ashes, or on hot stones. The most common baked item is bread but many other types of foods are baked as well.

Breakfast is a simple short story by John Steinbeck in which purity of living is described. The story is about a poor family willing to work happily for a little better living. The family has no complaints against anyone else on account of poverty. They are contented with whatever they earn.

Summary. 'Breakfast' by Jacques Prévert is a thoughtful and direct poem that describes a speaker's reactions to an unknown man's coffee, cigarette, and departure. The speaker uses the first part of the poem to describe, step by step, the way a man prepares and drinks his coffee.
